QuadMed is seeking a Practice Management Analyst to join our corporate team. This is a full-time remote position.

General Purpose of Job

The Practice Management Analyst II (PMA II) serves as the support contact and specialist for assigned Epic applications. Reporting to the Practice Management Analyst Lead and consulting with the Sr. Practice Management Analyst, this role involves configuring, building, and installing applications, as well as coordinating issues during the build phase. Responsibilities include reviewing workflows, understanding policies and procedures, analyzing new releases, and supporting system testing and documentation. The PMA II also troubleshoots end-user issues, assists in designing and implementing new applications and system enhancements, and participates in testing and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review business and user requirements; collaborate on designing and building solutions to automate or improve EMR systems.
  2. Support Epic applications by reviewing design, training resources, and processes.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members, users, vendors, and leadership.
  4. Produce quality deliverables throughout the change lifecycle, including design, testing, and implementation.
  5. Support and maintain EMR systems, analyze issues, and coordinate corrective actions.
  6. Work with reporting teams to ensure proper system data capture.
  7. Participate in vendor demos, site visits, and system health checks.
  8. Recommend and design technology solutions to address business problems.
  9. Participate in meetings with vendors to troubleshoot issues and gather requirements.
  10. Create, review, and execute system test plans; evaluate new releases and recommend features to implement.
  11. Test system upgrades, document build specifications, and support system changes.
  12. Troubleshoot problems, provide user support, and assist in documentation.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in healthcare IT.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience as an analyst with Epic applications.
  • Experience with revenue cycle workflows, clinic front office workflows, and release of information preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be certified in at least two Epic applications such as Resolute Professional Billing, Cadence, Prelude, Referrals, Welcome, Security, or HIM.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with EMR design, build, and configuration, especially Epic applications.
  • Knowledge of healthcare business and practice management applications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
