Job summary

Areo Dental Group in Illinois is seeking a hands-on Practice Leader to oversee all aspects of our dental practice operations and drive financial performance while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Lead a high-energy team, streamline processes, recruit and mentor talent, present treatment options and financial plans, and uphold our culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership background with experience in customer service, sales and leadership roles.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding goals with a high-energy leadership style.
  • Sales savvy with ability to present treatment plans and financial arrangements; PPO experience is a plus.
  • Ability to coach, counsel, and redirect teams to improve performance.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail in practice operations.
  • Accountability for achieving goals and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Persuasive, professional, empathetic communication.

  • Maintain Exceptional Patient Care: Ensure a 'red carpet' patient experience and 5-star reviews.
  • Manage Operations Efficiently: Oversee staff schedules and timely feedback sessions.
  • Present Treatment Options & Financial Plans: Guide patients through plans and financial arrangements.

Your Role:

As the Practice Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of practice operations, ensuring the practice consistently achieves or exceeds financial goals while maintaining an exceptional patient experience.

  • Lead and Inspire Your Team: Provide leadership and maintain a positive, high-performance team culture centered around accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with operational leadership to streamline practice operations and ensure efficiency.
  • Achieve Financial Goals: Be accountable for meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeted financial goals for the practice(s) you lead.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in leadership meetings, share best practices, and make necessary adjustments to keep your team on track.
  • Recruit, Train & Develop Talent: Grow your team by recruiting, training, and mentoring top talent to support practice expansion.
  • Maintain Exceptional Patient Care: Ensure all team members provide patients with a "red carpet" experience that leads to 5-star reviews and solidifies your practice’s reputation.
  • Manage Operations Efficiently: Oversee staff schedules, conduct timely feedback sessions, and maintain a focus on achieving targets.
  • Present Treatment Options & Financial Plans: Guide patients through treatment presentations and help break down financial arrangements to ensure they get started on the right path.
Who are You?

We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on being actively engaged with their team and can guide them to success. If you have the following, you might be the perfect fit for this role:

  • Strong Leadership Background: Experience in customer service, sales, and leadership roles (Managers from Starbucks, Apple, or Restaurant Management are encouraged to apply!).
  • Results-Driven: A track record of meeting or exceeding goals and maintaining a high-energy approach to leadership.
  • Sales Savvy: Comfort with presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements. Experience with PPO/Fee-for-service environments is a plus!
  • Team Management Skills: Ability to coach, counsel, and redirect teams to meet desired outcomes and improve performance.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in practice operations.
  • Accountability: Hold yourself and your team accountable to achieving goals and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Communication: A persuasive communicator with a professional, empathetic, and approachable demeanor.
Position Details:
  • Full-Time Position: Monday to Friday with some Saturday availability.
