Job summary
Toole Design Group seeks an accomplished transportation professional to lead its integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice in Columbus, OH. The role combines practice leadership with active project delivery, reporting to the Engineering Director while collaborating with Design and Planning Directors.
The candidate will guide business development, maintain client relationships, mentor staff, and advance practice priorities across multiple offices.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of proven success in transportation engineering and multimodal planning leadership.
- Experience leading integrated teams, delivering complex projects, and growing a transportation practice.
- PE preferred; PTOE and/or AICP credentials are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice and major projects.
- Drive business development and practice business planning to meet growth targets.
- Mentor and develop engineers and planners; shape technical direction and client relationships.
- Collaborate with regional and firm leadership to advance practice priorities and visibility.
