Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Practice Innovation Attorney to advance its innovation objectives by identifying high-value GenAI-enabled opportunities and translating practice needs into practical technology solutions.

The role leads adoption across attorneys and professionals, shaping how emerging technologies are evaluated, developed, and implemented in a responsible, scalable manner. You will partner with legal engineers, knowledge management, IT, and vendors to design, test, and validate

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of legal practice or equivalent in legal tech/innovation roles.
Demonstrated experience with legal AI/GenAI platforms (e.g., Harvey, Westlaw AI, Lexis+ AI, CoCounsel).
Strong understanding of legal workflows and how tech can improve practice tasks.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through adoption.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to influence diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to apply GenAI and emerging tech to improve legal workflows and client service.
Translate requirements into use cases and collaborate with legal engineers, IT, and vendors.
Lead adoption efforts with demonstrations, training, and workflow integration.
Develop practical playbooks and prompt guidance to facilitate effective use and adoption.
Establish feedback channels to improve tools, workflows, and user experience.
Monitor developments in legal AI and adjust firm workflows accordingly.
