Job summary

Virginia Cancer Specialists, an affiliate of McKesson Specialty Health and US Oncology, seeks an accomplished Practice Director to lead operations across our Northern Virginia locations.

Based in our Fairfax Administrative Office, this full-time leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to drive excellence, support exceptional patient care, and make a meaningful impact within a leading patient centered oncology practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field.
• Seven years of healthcare management experience, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies, procedures and objectives. Ensures their adequate execution, compliance, and updates.
• Evaluates general and specific business conditions as they relate to operational issues and advises the governing body and the Executive Director on these matters.
• Advises and assists in developing organizational objectives, and plans for their achievement.
• Oversees development of systems to support practice-wide activities and coordinates hardware/software requirements.
• Directs the development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote communication and information flow.
• Monitors and reports on practice progress, considering capacity, manpower, facilities and technology.
• Prepares management reports and necessary periodic reports.
• Ensures compliance with organizational structure and mission statements.
• Oversees development and coordination of new office locations and staffing.
