Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a skilled medical coder to ensure accurate procedure coding and compliant charge entry across hospital and physician settings.

The role requires coding credentials, 2+ years of experience or completion of the Revenue Integrity Internship, and strong communication abilities to collaborate with coordinators and audit teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a coding credential (RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, RN).
• Must have minimum of 2 years hospital and/or physician practice coding experience or successful completion of the one-year Revenue Integrity Internship Program.
• Demonstrated communication skills and an ability to work independently and deal effectively with various types of personnel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Three to five years of experience in a hospital and/or physician practice setting.
