Job summary

Millennium Physician Group, LLC is seeking a Practice Administrator to oversee strategic and daily administrative operations for multiple healthcare practices, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision and performance metrics.

You will manage revenue cycle, billing, HR, budgeting, and recruitment while designing staffing models and leading administrative staff to support providers and patients across locations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of healthcare management experience in a physician practice setting is preferred.
  • 3+ years of operations management leading clinical and operational teams.
  • Deep knowledge of revenue cycle, billing, patient experience, HR, budgeting and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative operations for 1–4 providers, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage and optimize workflows to deliver high-quality support services.
  • Monitor and report key operational metrics to drive performance.
  • Own the practice budgets and review monthly statements for accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve performance.
  • Ensure accurate posting for demographics and charges; implement coding changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement strategic operational plans.
  • Coordinate administrative meetings, agendas, and minutes.

Job Description Summary

The Practice Administrator oversees the strategic and daily administrative operations of one or more healthcare practices, ensuring alignment with the Group's overall vision to enhance organizational performance across key operational metrics, including efficiency, financial management, compliance, and staff coordination. This role oversees administrative functions including revenue cycle management, billing, human resources, budgeting, financial analysis, workflow optimization, and recruitment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide support for generally four (4) + providers, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with established standards.
  • Manage and optimize administrative workflows to ensure consistent, high-quality support services.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics to support organizational goals.
  • Own the financial budget for assigned practices, reviewing monthly financial statements for accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and statistical reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting for demographics and charges; implement coding changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to implement operational plans and resolve administrative challenges.
  • Coordinate and facilitate administrative meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures that align with organizational standards.
  • Serve as liaison between departments to streamline communication and operational efficiency.
  • Design staffing models to optimize administrative workflows, recruit, train, and manage administrative staff.
  • Support provider recruitment efforts from an administrative perspective.
  • Assist in onboarding new providers with a focus on administrative processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in administrative operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of healthcare management experience in a physician practice setting, preferred not required.
  • 3+ years of operations management experience leading clinical and operational teams.
  • A deep knowledge of all practice disciplines is required, including revenue cycle, billing, patient experience, human resources, budgeting, financial analysis, clinical workflows, and recruitment.
  • Financial experience, budgeting, working with spreadsheets, accounting reporting systems and software, Excel, and similar database reporting is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain an improvement mindset for the practice and align the practice and provider goals with those of the organization.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple practices, demonstrating the ability to effectively coordinate resources and enhance performance across diverse teams
  • Able to relate to, interact with, and understand personality types and different kinds of people.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation Range: $67,349.00 to $101,023.00 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
