Job summary

Louisiana Delta Community College in Monroe, LA seeks a Practical Nursing Program Coordinator to lead the practical nursing program. The role is a 12-month, grant-funded, full-time faculty position within Academic Affairs.

The coordinator will oversee curriculum, student outcomes, and assessment, supervise faculty, coordinate certifications, and manage program budgets and advising. A registered nurse with at least three years of nursing experience is required.

Qualifications

• RN license and 3 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in medical-surgical hospital staff nursing with direct patient care.
• Commitment to professionalism and LDCC mission, and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise nursing curriculum to meet program standards and student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate program activities, advising, and transfer articulations with Registrar’s office.
• Develop and monitor annual budget, and manage faculty workload and development.
