Blue Cliff College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver instruction using lectures, demonstrations, and audiovisual tools to prepare students for entry-level Nurse Aide roles.

The role focuses on organizing practical/technical instruction, supervising clinical sites, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom discipline with flexible scheduling in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an ADN.
• Current license in good standing with the LSBNE.
• Minimum of three (3) years practical work experience RN.
• Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively with students, peers, and community.

Responsibilities

• Performs performance-based objectives and outlines for course following curriculum guidelines.
• Organizes a program of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills.
• Instructs students on use, maintenance, and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Instructs on safety, regulations, and terminology of Nurse Aide program.
• Assigns lessons, corrects homework, and administers tests to evaluate knowledge and skills.
• Keeps attendance and progress records; reports to Lead Instructor and Director of Education.
