Florence-Darlington Technical College is seeking an instructor to provide classroom instruction, advising, and program development in nursing-related fields. The role requires an active RN license in SC, a bachelor’s degree with teaching focus, and at least two years of medical-surgical experience.
The candidate will engage in curriculum development, assist with student recruitment and retention activities, and participate in college committees to support institutional objectives.

Provide classroom instruction for students, academic advising, develop and implement retention activities, assist in graduate placement, attend graduation ceremonies, assist with student orientation/registration, revise curricula, develop courses, design new programs, revise instructional materials, remain current in teaching field, work on college committees and promote institutional objectives.
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Must have an unencumbered active RN license in SC or another compact state. At least 2 years experience with a strong medical surgical background.
The minimum as listed, plus knowledge of instructional methodologies and alternative delivery methods; excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and in groups; ability to multi-task and meet specified timelines. Ability to work flexible hours as needed; ability to work evenings as needed; ability to travel within the service area.
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
