Job summary

North Georgia Technical College seeks a Practical Nursing (PN) Clinical Instructor to develop curriculum and deliver instruction in clinical and simulation settings. You will guide students, conduct orientation and debrief sessions, and support clinical site coordination in Toccoa, GA.

The role requires ASN nursing degree, Georgia RN license, and 3+ years of nursing experience. Teaching and simulation experience are preferred, with emphasis on patient safety and effective clinical teaching.

Qualifications

• ASN nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Three years of nursing experience within the past seven years.
• Georgia RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and guide students in clinical and simulation labs.
• Complete orientation and debrief training for clinical and simulation activities.
• Facilitate students' development of clinical thinking, judgment, and communication.
• Engage students in observation, assessment, and patient education.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality and promote a safe learning environment.
• Lead pre- and post-clinical conferences and coordinate with course faculty.
• Evaluate student progress and return graded work promptly.
• Become proficient with EHR Tutor, ATI, ACEMAPP, and CAE LearningSpace.
