Job summary

North Georgia Technical College in Toccoa, GA seeks a Practical Nursing (PN) Clinical Instructor to develop curriculum and deliver instruction in clinical and simulation labs. The instructor will guide students, conduct orientations, and assess progress to ensure patient safety and learning outcomes.

The role requires ASN, 3+ years nursing, GA RN license, and collaboration with PN faculty. Willingness to learn EHR Tutor, ATI, ACEMAPP, and CAE LearningSpace is expected.

Qualifications

• ASN degree from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years' work experience as a nurse within the past seven (7) years.
• Georgia RN license in good standing.
• Teaching experience in a Practical Nursing program (preferred).
• Experience using simulation equipment for nursing education (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Direct, instruct, and guide PN students in clinical and simulation labs.
• Facilitate clinical and simulation orientations and debrief sessions.
• Evaluate student progress and complete mid-term/final evaluations.
• Coordinate with PN Program Director and course faculty on student outcomes.
