Job summary

Ogeechee Technical College in Georgia is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor to deliver PN program coursework, develop weekly activity planners aligned with student learning outcomes, and ensure instructional quality.

Responsibilities include using Blackboard, evaluating student progress, advising, participating in recruitment and budgeting, and collaborating across departments to promote student success in multiple modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online).

Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Current practical nurse license by the Georgia State Board of Nursing in good standing.
• Minimum of three years of full-time paid work experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing or related settings.
• BLS for Healthcare providers (CPR & AED) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PN program course instruction and develop weekly activity planners.
• Review and finalize syllabi and LMS (Blackboard) materials for courses.
• Evaluate student progress and advise on academic and occupational curricula.
• Participate in program recruitment, enrollment and retention activities.
• Contribute to budgeting and acquisition of instructional equipment and supplies.
• Teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online) as needed.
