JEVS Human Services Career Center is seeking an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Practical Nursing Program to oversee PN students during clinical rotations and lead skills labs on campus in Philadelphia.

The role focuses on active learning in the lab or clinical setting, supervising patient assessments and nursing procedures, and contributing to student evaluation and ongoing professional development through continuing education and CE activities.

Responsibilities

• Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.
• Assist and supervise students with patient assessment, administration of medications and patient care procedures.
• Provide clinical instruction at long term care, sub-acute and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment which encourages the student’s academic growth and professional development.
• Engage in the evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to evaluate students.
• Submit final grades and other program related materials in a timely manner.
• Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.
