Job summary

St. Cloud Technical and Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Practical Nursing Instructor. This on-site, fixed-term role teaches 4 or fewer credits per clinical or skills course, with classes typically Mon–Fri and no remote option.

Salary per credit up to 4 credits is $1,650, with an overall salary range of $24,800–$52,800. Candidates must hold a nursing degree with Minnesota RN licensure and demonstrate equity-minded, culturally responsive instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or graduate degree with nursing/education emphasis.
• Current RN license in Minnesota and unencumbered status.
• Two full-time years of RN experience at the professional level.
• Recency: last five years, or two years teaching in the credential field.
• Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for on-site teaching.
• On-site teaching; no remote option for this role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning through mentoring and lab/clinical engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and students to foster inclusive learning.
• Design and revise nursing curriculum with an equity-minded lens.
• Ensure inclusive content and resources for PN students.
• Engage in college committees and activities to promote equity.
• Provide holistic support to foster student success and lifelong learning.
