Job summary

Minneapolis College is seeking applications for potential temporary part-time and/or adjunct Nursing instructors within the School of Nursing, Health Sciences and Wellness. The Nursing Department is committed to excellence in teaching and learning as we educate the next generation of nurses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN license.
• Recency requirement: one year of experience within five years or two years of teaching in credential field.
• Preferred: DNP or Ph.D. in Nursing.
• Preferred: College-level nursing teaching experience (theory, lab, clinical).
• Dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Teach lab and clinical components of nursing courses for a diverse student population.
• Create/edit instructional materials.
• Assess student performance.
• Organize/maintain instructional lab/equipment.
• Participate in department meetings.
• Use campus tech to maintain professional skills and connect with faculty, staff, and students.
• Be a collaborative team player focused on student success.
