HAVAS Red New York is seeking a Public Relations Assistant for a full‑time, 4‑month program in New York. The role supports media relations, influencer outreach, writing, and account tasks.

Responsibilities include securing placements, creating pitch materials, editing client communications, and assisting with event logistics. Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field is preferred, with strong writing and multitasking abilities expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, liberal arts, business or marketing focus preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills with AP style.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Secure 5–10 unique placements per month in Tier 3+ outlets.
• Provide social media/brand intel reports and contribute to pitches.
• Monitor industry news for client coverage and research.
• Support weekly coverage uploads and reporting in the agency dashboard.
• Assist with media lists, speaking opportunities, awards, and competitor analysis.
• Participate in client brainstorms and account calls.
