Job summary

Klaviyo Inc. is seeking a Public Relations Lead who stays ahead of trends and crafts stories that place Klaviyo at the center of brand marketing conversations. You’ll build out major research moments and drive quarterly trend reports for marketers and customers alike.

You’ll run the press office with our PR partners, secure high-impact coverage, and shape executive messaging for fast, on-trend responses. A strong track record in media relations and leadership storytelling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, media relations, or related field, including in-house and/or agency experience.
• Experience supporting marketing, retail, ecommerce, technology, or other consumer-facing industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience running media relations programs and developing thought leadership communications.

Responsibilities

• Run the press office day-to-day in partnership with our PR agencies, securing high-impact coverage and building reporter relationships.
• Draft exec statements and comments for same-day release while monitoring the news cycle.
• Identify and secure speaker opportunities at key events and award opportunities to amplify Klaviyo's thought leadership.
• Develop and lead thought leadership programs with executives to raise market presence.
• Collaborate with Customer Marketing to highlight compelling customer stories.
