Klaviyo is seeking a Public Relations Lead to own our press office, nurture relationships with reporters and influencers, and drive thought leadership across marketing, retail, and commerce. You’ll craft compelling narratives, manage executive communications, and coordinate with agencies to secure high-impact coverage.

You’ll also steer our quarterly research stories and major event coverage, ensuring the Klaviyo voice stays timely, credible, and influential in market conversations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, media relations, or related field.
• Experience supporting marketing, retail, ecommerce, technology, or other consumer-facing industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience running media relations programs and developing thought leadership.

Responsabilités

• Run the press office day-to-day in partnership with PR agencies, securing high-impact coverage.
• Build relationships with reporters and influencers across marketing, retail, and commerce.
• Draft exec statements and comments for same-day release.
• Identify speaker opportunities at events and awards to amplify Klaviyo’s thought leaders.
• Drive thought leadership programs for the CMO and executives.
• Collaborate with Customer Marketing to tell compelling customer stories to press.
• Oversee research-driven communications, including quarterly trends and BFCM storytelling.
