LHH is seeking an experienced Public Relations Account Manager to lead client programs, drive media relations efforts, and provide strategic communications counsel across a diverse portfolio of accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• 3+ years of public relations, communications, or agency experience.
• Demonstrated success securing earned media placements and managing media relationships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience developing and implementing strategic communications programs.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Develop and execute proactive and reactive communications strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Support clients across a variety of industries, gaining a deep understanding of their products, services, competitive landscape, and key audiences.
• Create high-quality written content including press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, presentations, executive communications, and other marketing materials.
• Drive media relations initiatives and secure earned media coverage across national, regional, local, trade, consumer, healthcare, business, and lifestyle outlets.
• Lead client meetings, status calls, and strategic planning discussions while ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, digital, social media, and strategy professionals to deliver integrated communications campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and client service standards.
• Support social media and digital communications initiatives as part of broader integrated marketing efforts.
• Develop reporting and measurement frameworks to demonstrate campaign performance and business impact.
