Job summary

LHH is seeking a Public Relations Account Executive in the Dallas, TX area for a permanent role. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of agency PR experience, strong client communication, and a proven ability to craft press materials that support client goals.

This is a hybrid position based at the client’s Dallas area office. Responsibilities include serving as the primary client contact, drafting press releases and pitches, building media lists, and coordinating interviews and events while

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional public relations experience.
• Recent agency experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience writing press releases, media pitches, and other external communications.
• Strong client communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities with close attention to detail.
• Experience conducting media outreach and developing relationships with reporters and editors.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, providing clear updates, thoughtful recommendations, and responsive account support.
• Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, talking points, bylined articles, award submissions, and other public relations materials.
• Develop targeted media lists and pitch relevant stories to local, regional, trade, and national outlets.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and industry influencers.
• Coordinate interviews, media opportunities, press events, and other client-facing activities.
• Monitor media coverage, industry news, and emerging trends to identify timely opportunities for clients.
• Support the development and execution of strategic communications plans and campaigns.
• Track deliverables, deadlines, coverage, and campaign results across multiple client accounts.
• Prepare client reports and communicate results, insights, and recommended next steps.
• Collaborate with internal account teams to ensure high-quality, accurate, and on-brand work.
