Job summary

BD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to own Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Daily Team Maintenance (DTM). You will coordinate maintenance activities, work with the PM process, and plan resources for PM days and shutdowns to boost equipment availability.

You will interact with Engineering, Parts Crib, and vendors, enter SAP data, and help drive continuous improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires at least one year of formal training in mechanical trades or equivalent related experience.
• 2-5 years of mechanical technical experience within a high-volume manufacturing production environment.
• Working knowledge of maintenance systems, procedures, and SAP.
• Prefer knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques, preventive maintenance, conveyors and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Own Planned and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Daily Team Maintenance (DTM).
• Coordinate maintenance activities and drive a culture of world class machine care.
• Plan maintenance resources and materials for PM days and shutdowns.
• Work with Engineering, Parts Crib and vendors to procure parts and equipment.
• Enter PM data accurately in SAP and support continuous improvements.
