Job Summary:

MOR PPM, Inc. seeks a Full Time Plant Laborer in Lakeland, Florida. This position will mainly involve reading meters.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Read meters
• Assist crew members with construction and maintenance activities
• Work overtime or alternate hours as necessary for department efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited school
• At least 1 year of construction experience
• Experience in construction, maintenance, and repair in Power Plants is preferred

Special Requirements:

• Ability to pass and maintain Confined Space training (C & M Division)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of equipment, materials, and practices used in Power Plant maintenance and repair
• Understanding of safety rules and procedures
• Skill in using construction trade tools and equipment
• Ability to operate power hand tools safely
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Effective communication skills to work with team members, supervisors, and the public
• Capability to perform manual, semi-skilled, and skilled tasks
