Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Training Equipment/ PPE support role in Alabama to maintain, issue, and recover PPE and training equipment, support training leaders, and coordinate with instructors and managers for course delivery.

The position requires handling equipment up to 60 pounds, flexible scheduling, travel under 10%, and compliance with safety standards. U.S. citizenship and Real ID compliant ID are required for federal contract work.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED with at least three years of related experience.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 60 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule and ability to work with people at different levels.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must complete pre-placement screenings including background checks and drug testing.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract regulations.
• Real ID Act compliant government-issued ID is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports training delivery through the care, maintenance, and accountability of training equipment and supplies.
• Maintain proper sanitation in the maintenance and repair of training equipment.
• Transport training equipment and PPE as required.
• Assist with setup and recovery of training equipment at training venues as required.
• Maintain a record of defective equipment and disposition accordingly.
• Coordinate with instructors, subcontractors, and team leads regarding course delivery support.
• Interact daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers.
• Travel less than 10% to support job requirements.
• Operate non-CDL government vehicles and comply with safety procedures.
