Job summary

Leidos in Alabama is seeking a CBRNE/WMD Instructor to contribute to the strategic plan and ensure seamless training delivery at the Center for Domestic Preparedness.

You will maintain SME knowledge in CBRNE/WMD, revise course materials, and coordinate with state and local officials to stay at the cutting edge of training techniques. The role involves hands-on, live-agent instruction with PPE and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in one of the emergency response disciplines supporting all-hazard response, with 5 years in WMD/CBRNE or hazardous materials at technician level per OSHA/NFPA.
• Minimum 3 years of current instructional experience.
• Possess a teaching certification, have postsecondary teaching experience, or teaching degree.
• Possess knowledge of the federal response plan/NIMS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct indoor classroom-style training and outdoor hands-on demonstrations in extreme conditions.
• Improve toxic agent training through research and revision.
• Maintain SME knowledge in CBRNE/WMD and review course materials.
• Ensure compatibility with COBRA Training Facility procedures and safety standards.
