Mechanix Wear in Missouri seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality function for PPE apparel operations, ensuring products meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory certifications (ANSI/ISEA, NFPA, ASTM, CE). This role owns the quality management system and leads a team of QA specialists across manufacturing and warehouse operations.

You will drive root-cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement, partnering with Product Development/Engineering and Supply

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive quality assurance experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
Experience in apparel, PPE, or technical manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong working knowledge of PPE quality standards (ANSI/ISEA, NFPA, ASTM, CE) or similar.
Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.

Responsabilités

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Assurance Specialists/Inspectors across warehouse/distribution functions.
Own root-cause analysis and CAPA processes for defects and customer quality issues.
Manage incoming inspection and supplier quality, including audits and corrective actions.
Develop, document, and improve inspection protocols, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria.
Ensure PPE safety and performance standards compliance across product lines.
