Job summary

MEDA Engineering & Technical Services is seeking an experienced Powertrain Warranty & Reliability Specialist to support automotive clients. This onsite role focuses on analyzing warranty data, guiding corrective actions, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality powertrain solutions.

You will lead cross-functional projects, drive issue resolution, and help implement manufacturing quality enablers while working with unionized teams and leveraging data analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering/Quality in automotive.
• Creative problem solver with strong teamwork and communication.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading initiatives.
• Ability to analyze data and translate to actionable quality improvements.
• Strong presentation skills for leadership meetings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate quality analysis reviews with suppliers and internal plants.
• Identify emerging field issues from warranty data and understand failure modes.
• Monitor corrective actions and support Warranty Recovery initiatives.
• Utilize data systems to capture quality spills and ensure clean points.
• Plan and manage multiple projects in a technical/business environment.
• Represent the Voice of the Customer to platform teams.
