Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an experienced Simulation Engineer to drive the virtual development of vehicle thermal systems, focusing on powertrain cooling, HVAC performance and cabin comfort. You will perform 1D thermal simulations, model control strategies, and support system integration across platforms.

You will size components with the hardware team, run transient simulations, and collaborate with physical testing to validate and correlate models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of product development experience, preferably automotive, with simulation of hybrid/electrified propulsion systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• The PRS simulation and analysis Engineer is responsible for using and developing proprietary models to size the vehicle thermal system.
• The Simulation Engineer is responsible for the integration of basic control logics of thermal actuators.
• Creates and uses pre-processing and post-processing tools and provide support program management.
• Compare the model results with test data and correlate the model accordingly.
• Communication of the results in oral presentations and written reports to Chief Engineers, COEs, Component Engineers and others including Powertrain management is required and a must
