Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Simulation Engineer focused on virtual development of vehicle thermal systems, including powertrain cooling, HVAC performance, and cabin comfort. You will perform 1D thermal simulations, model control strategies, and integrate systems across platforms, while supporting hardware teams in sizing components and running transient simulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related).
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive product development experience simulating hybrid/electric propulsion.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Use and develop proprietary models to size the vehicle thermal system.
  • Integrate basic control logics of thermal actuators.
  • Create and use pre-/post-processing tools and support program management.
  • Compare model results with test data and correlate the model accordingly.
  • Communicate results in oral presentations and written reports to engineers and management.
