Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• Direct hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic assemblies, including LV/HV wiring fabrication.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical circuitry including HV systems.
• Experience with product testing (Dyno, Battery, Electrical).
• Excellent documentation and written communication; proficient using Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with 5S or similar workplace organization methods.
• Experience following maintenance safety protocols (LOTO, 5S, Arc Flash).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible schedules based on project needs.
• Preferred: HV training certificate from OEM or knowledge of battery-powered systems.
• Preferred: Basic Python experience.
• Preferred: Basic CAD experience (NX, Catia, SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Perform motor and drive unit testing on specialty dyno setups.
• Set up equipment and devices for specialty testing; work with analog/digital I/O, CAN systems, HV/LV.
• Troubleshoot and debug test setups (Mechanical, Electrical, Software).
• Collaborate with Design engineering on custom test configurations.
• Design and build basic lab fixtures and tools.
• Procure, install, organize and maintain test equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab and shop space.
• Perform routine maintenance of testing equipment.
• Support engineering activities including prototype development and validation.
• Communicate cross-functionally with engineering teams to meet deadlines.
