Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or foreign equivalency; combined with related experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing with capacity planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Value stream mapping understanding.
• Experience with SAP.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent relationship-building/negotiation skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Master degree or related degree preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with capacity planning preferred.
• Experience with CMMS or SPCPS preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Establish production plans for the Powertrain Plant and collaborate with team members to stay on target.
• Generate weekly/monthly manufacturing plans for engine and transmission plants while balancing capacities and inventories.
• Lead SPCPS process support to manage plant capacities for vehicle production programs.
• Implement demand-versus-capacity assessments and what-if scenarios.
• Work with logistics and purchasing teams to manage constraints and supply base issues.
• Support meetings and optimize schedules based on supply and mix requirements.
• Address smoothing, down weeks/days, and stockpiling to meet customer demand.
• Communicate unsupportable plans and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain data in CMMS, DPR, and Excel to support planning and reporting.
