Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience after college
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget management
• AutoCAD experience including reading, interpreting and modifying
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
• Ability to work weekends and shutdowns during holidays

Responsibilities

• Develop operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for assigned areas in Powertrain department
• Lead, plan, procure, install, trial, and launch engine/transmission machining or assembly lines
• Create and maintain schedule and budget for assigned areas
• Develop/improve standard tools and benchmarks
• Lead cross-functional teams across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals
• Visualize activity plans and schedules to secure project priorities
• Analyze critical manufacturing issues and communicate root causes and countermeasures
• Spend 20% of time on floor
