Job summary

Tecknomic LLC in Buffalo, WV is seeking a Process Engineer to develop operating process plans and lead the planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launch of engine and transmission machining and assembly lines on 100% onsite work.

You will own the schedule and budget for your assigned area, drive cross-functional teams, and analyze manufacturing issues to communicate root causes and countermeasures; about 20% of time is spent on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (High School/GED minimum).
• 3–5 years of experience after college (not 15–20 year candidates).
• Process engineering experience with schedule and budget management.
• Some project-management exposure; machining or assembly experience.
• AutoCAD and 3D CAD reading and modification.
• Willingness to work 45–50 hour weeks with overtime, weekends, shutdowns.
• Flexibility to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
• Preferred: engine, transmission, or powertrain manufacturing experience; local candidate within ~200 miles.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating process plans for machining and assembly lines.
