Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience after college.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget management.
• AutoCAD experience includes the ability to read, interpret and modify.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
• Ability to work weekends and shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Develop operating process plans to machine or assemble parts in the Powertrain department.
• Lead planning, procurement, installation, testing, and launch of engine/transmission lines.
• Create and maintain schedule and budget for assigned areas.
• Develop or improve standard tools and benchmarks.
• Lead cross-functional groups across local facility and corporate departments.
• Visualize activity plans and schedules to secure project priorities.
• Analyze manufacturing issues and communicate root causes and countermeasures.
• Spends ~20% of time on the production floor.
