Job summary

Work4ce Inc. in Buffalo WV is seeking an Engineer to lead engine/transmission machining and assembly line projects. The role includes planning, procurement, installation, and launching, with responsibility for schedules and budgets within the Powertrain department.

You will develop tools, drive cross-functional initiatives, and coordinate with local facility and corporate teams. Travel up to 20% and possible overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering with schedule and budget management.
• Proficient reading/modifying AutoCAD drawings.
• Strong 3D CAD experience and interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launching of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines.
• Developing operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for the Powertrain department.
• Creating and maintaining schedule and budget for the assigned area.
• Develop / improve standard tools and benchmarks.
• Lead and participate in cross functional working groups across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals.
• Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus building to secure project priorities.
• Analyze critical manufacturing issues and communicate root causes and countermeasures to stakeholders.
• Spend 20% of time on the floor.
