Job summary

FPT Industrial, the global powertrain brand of Iveco Group, seeks an Engine Test Bench Operator in Burr Ridge, IL. You will install engines and instrumentation, monitor tests, and support engineering with lab activities.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires an associate degree in a technical field, engine knowledge, and data-entry accuracy. Benefits include health coverage, tuition assistance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Knowledge of diesel, gasoline and natural gas engine operation.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry for test records.

Responsibilities

• Install engines and related equipment in test cells per procedures and safety rules.
• Install, connect, calibrate, and verify instrumentation and sensors for tests.
• Monitor test cell operations and report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Provide hands-on support to engineering during test procedures and lab work.
• Document test activities and observations in logs and systems.
