Job description

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. OT. Need to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The Powertrain Electrical Triage Engineer will work with various teams to root cause issues on vehicles at all build levels, identify issues, assign ownership, and drive issues to resolution. Responsibilities include:

• Leading powertrain electrical root cause analysis during all pilot phases, prototype builds, and root cause investigations.

Requirements:

• Location: 100% onsite at Toledo Assembly Complex, 4000 Stickney Ave, Toledo, OH 43608. Occasional travel to Auburn Hills, MI may be required. Candidates should be local or willing to commute daily.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 3-5 years of automotive system and component experience, with knowledge of Powertrain and Vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with all management levels.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams.

Additional Must-Haves:

• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Experience with diagnostic tools like CANalyzer/CANoe.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
