Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a PD Engineer to design and release powertrain cast structures components for EV, Hybrid, and ICE platforms. You will own CAD/BOM structures, support CAE testing, and drive design improvements across global manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include leading design, validation, and supplier collaboration, delivering 3D/2D CAD, and ensuring alignment with program targets and cost constraints. Hybrid onsite work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industry experience with high pressure die cast components.
• 1 year of CAD experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering activities from pre-program through launch.
• Develop cast structures components with powertrain systems and manufacturing teams.
• Lead component design, validation and FMA.
• Manage prototype and production build delivery and quality.
• Develop structural design to meet powertrain and vehicle attributes.
• Interface with internal/external manufacturing teams for casting and machining.
