Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas is seeking a Design Engineer Intern to support the Powertrain Aftertreatment and Exhaust team. You will work on designs, testing and releases for production, including DEF tank development and validation efforts.

Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related program. Strong MS Office, communication and analytical skills are desired as you contribute to multiple projects and develop real-world engineering experience.

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related program.
• Experience with MS Office suite is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Multi-tasking abilities and strong professionalism.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Interest in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on tests.

Responsabilidades

• Support new program exhaust and aftertreatment system related designs, testing and release for production.
• Develop a new Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and delivery system to the aftertreatment system.
• Assist with the build of test properties and support validation efforts.
• Support concurrent powertrain and exhaust program launches.
