Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, invites students currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program to apply for a Design Engineer Internship in Denton, Texas. This role focuses on supporting exhaust and aftertreatment designs, testing, and production releases for powertrain programs.

You will help develop DEF tank systems, assist in validation efforts, and contribute to multiple concurrent powertrain projects within a dynamic, hands-on engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related program.

Responsibilities

• Support new program exhaust and aftertreatment system related designs, testing and release for production.
• Develop a new Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank and delivery system to the aftertreatment system.
• Assist with the build of test properties and supporting validation efforts.
• Support concurrent powertrain and exhaust program launches.
