Job summary

You will join Young Automotive Group's central office as a Powersports Staff Accountant, supporting dealership operations with precise financial reporting and reconciliations. This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with dealership accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Support dealership managers with financial insights and reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assist with audits, budgets, and forecasting as needed.
