Job summary

RideNow Powersports - Goodyear is seeking a meticulous Accounting Clerk to manage day-to-day accounts payable, process vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments. You will perform three-way matching, handle DMS transactions, and maintain vendor records to support accurate cost accounting across Parts, Service and Sales.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Numerical accuracy with attention to detail to prevent double-payments or miscodes.
• Clear communication with Parts, Service, and GM to clear invoice holds.
• Strong organizational skills to handle high volume during peak seasons and meet deadlines.
• Ability to trace inventory discrepancies between receipts, POs, and vendor statements.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices, credit memos, and receipts into Lightspeed DMS.
• Perform three-way matching (PO, receiving report, vendor invoice) for parts and supplies.
• Verify service sublet invoices against active repair orders prior to payment.
• Issue customer refunds, lien payoffs, and unit purchases invoicing.
• Process AP entries for major unit inventory from OEMs; monitor credits, freight claims, and rebates.
• Prepare weekly checks, ACH, and credit card payments per vendor terms.
• Maintain vendor records, tax docs (W-9) and COI; reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with month-end close and 1099 data for qualifying contractors; support inquiries.
