Job summary

McKibben Powersports is seeking a hands-on Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of the parts department. You will manage inventory, ordering, pricing, invoicing, and documentation while leading a team to meet sales goals and deliver a best-in-class parts experience.

This role collaborates with the Service Department to ensure timely parts availability for repairs, maintains strong vendor relationships, and drives profitability through smart promotions and efficient merchandising.

Qualifications

• Experience in a parts department, preferably powersports, automotive, or marine.
• Strong knowledge of powersports parts, accessories and equipment.
• Proven leadership and team development ability.
• Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all parts department operations including sales, inventory, ordering and merchandising.
• Lead, train and develop parts department staff to meet goals.
• Forecast demand, monitor turnover, and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure accurate pricing, invoicing and parts documentation in the DMS.
• Coordinate with Service to ensure parts availability for repairs.
• Drive sales through promotions and upselling opportunities.
• Monitor expenses to maximize profitability.
• Maintain organized displays and storage areas.
• Build relationships with vendors and customers for growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
