Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard techniques and practices used in power line construction and maintenance.
• Ability to climb poles and work safely on high voltage lines.
• Understanding of hazards and safety precautions in power line work.

Responsibilities

• Participates in installation and alignment of power line poles and related components.
• Operates bucket trucks and related equipment as needed.
• Installs primary and secondary underground lines and connects wires.
• Investigates power outages and performs emergency repairs as needed.
• Supports tree trimming and site cleanup as required.
• Performs tasks under supervision of a Crew Supervisor.
