You will oversee field supervision, ensure safety, quality, and compliance, and coordinate with project managers and crews to meet schedule and budget. The role requires 10+ years in utility distribution construction, Journeyman Powerline Technician certification, and strong leadership with travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Powerline Technician certification or equivalent.
• 10+ years of progressive experience within the utility distribution construction industry or a related construction environment.
• Previous experience leading field crews, supervisors, or construction teams.
• Experience with overhead and underground electrical distribution projects is strongly preferred.
• Valid and current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to field supervision, crews, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of distribution construction activities.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of overhead and underground distribution projects, including new construction, upgrades, maintenance, rebuilds, and restoration activities.
• Conduct regular field visits, safety observations, and quality reviews to ensure work is completed in accordance with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, work plans, and schedules to support effective project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and assist with troubleshooting construction challenges and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with Work Methods Specialists, Project Managers, and field supervision to develop safe and efficient construction approaches.
