Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking an Apprentice Lineman Technician to assist in building and maintaining power transmission and distribution systems across sites.

You will learn under Foreman or Construction Manager, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and field execution. The role requires willingness to travel, work overtime and weekends, and complete required training toward Lineman certification, while supporting installation, inspection, and repair tasks on high and low voltage

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an Apprentice Lineman Technician or in a related role within electrical utility, transmission, distribution, or powerline construction.
• Ability to distinguish color-coded electrical conductors and components.
• Willingness to travel and work frequent overtime and weekend hours to accommodate project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair high and low voltage transmission and distribution electrical grid.
• Troubleshoot and repair overhead distribution and transmission lines.
• Assist in construction, maintenance, and removal of underground and overhead power lines and equipment.
