Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking an Advanced Tree Trimmer in North Carolina. This non-exempt role involves pruning and removing trees and limbs near power lines using climbing gear and specialized equipment, while maintaining safety and appearance.

The role requires experience with tree trimming, knowledge of ANSI standards, and the ability to work around energized conductors. You will perform equipment inspections, keep records, and assist with on-site traffic control as needed.

Qualifications

• Has a minimum of 1 year of experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles and equipment with limbs and logs.
• Trim, remove, or fell trees using climbing gear and safety equipment.
• Work aloft with lifting equipment to cut branches and trunk sections.
• Lower debris using rigging lines and control devices.
• Operate hand and power tools for pruning, cutting, and trimming.
• Maintain safety practices and comply with OSHA regulations.
