Job summary
The Campbell's Company is seeking a Powerhouse Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment supporting safe, reliable manufacturing operations. Your mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance will maximize uptime and sustain quality products.
You will work with production operators, maintenance teams, and reliability groups in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, following strict safety and 5S standards. Training and growth opportunities are provided.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in a related field or 5+ years in lieu of degree.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience with pumps, gearboxes, bearings, drive systems, and conveyors.
- Knowledge of safety practices, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose failures to minimize downtime and support operations.
- Use hand/power tools and specialized equipment for repairs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production systems.
- Follow safety procedures including LOTO and PPE standards.
- Maintain organized work area and support 5S initiatives.
- Coordinate with operators, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Prepare components for vendor servicing when needed.
