Clarios Red Oak PowerFrame facility is hiring a Machine Operator to operate and maintain precision equipment for PowerFrame grids. You will monitor temperatures, speeds, and dimensions, perform changeovers, and support maintenance to ensure quality output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred not required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirator when applicable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate casting, rolling mill, press, and lead pot equipment to produce PowerFrame grids.
• Monitor key parameters such as temperature, flow, speed, and product dimensions.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and product changeovers.
• Inspect equipment and parts for quality, ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Assist maintenance with equipment PMs, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Handle lead safely, following all environmental and safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, hazardous materials handling).
• Train and support new operators to ensure safe, efficient performance.
• Document production data and quality checks accurately.
