We are currently seeking a PowerBI Developer - Warren, New Jersey to join our team in Warren, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop reports and dashboards on Power BI
2. Build Analysis Services reporting models
3. Write complex DAX functions in Power BI and perform transformations in Power BI Query editor
4. Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
5. Connect data sources, import, and transform data for Business Intelligence
6. Analyze business problems to determine the best BI solutions
7. Maintain knowledge of enterprise data assets and data-centric processes
8. Design methodology and project documentation

Basic Qualifications:

1. Minimum six years’ experience as a Power BI Developer
2. Minimum two years' experience in data-specific roles

Desired Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of data modeling in Power BI
2. Knowledge of row-level security in Power BI
3. Experience embedding Power BI into applications
4. Experience using DirectQuery & Import options in Power BI and knowing when to use each
5. Knowledge of Microsoft BI Stack
6. Data analytics skills
7. Software development skills
8. Good communication skills for client and team discussions
9. Ability to implement row-level security and understand application security layers in Power BI
10. Proficiency in DAX queries and advanced calculations in Power BI
11. Experience developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
